Tuition and Fees will be charged at the same rate whether instruction is delivered in-person, online, or through hybrid platforms.
A per credit hour or per course surcharge will be assessed for certain classes to offset higher costs.
- Students classified as undergraduates registering for masters and doctorate courses pay undergraduate tuition rates.
- Students are classified as upper division upon earning their 55th semester credit.
- Rate previously set per Board of Trustees Bylaws, Article 2, Section 2.105. Students do not have separate rates based on residency. Program is also referred to as LEADS Online Accelerated Bachelor's Degree for Adult Students.
- Students classified as graduates pay their graduate program tuition rate for all courses taken.

Allendale (map)
Allendale, Michigan, is home to Grand Valley's main campus, established in 1960, situated on 1,322 acres 12 miles west of Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids (map)
The 65-acre Robert C. Pew Campus in the heart of Grand Rapids is comprised of multiple buildings along the west bank of the Grand River that serves business, education, engineering, and other majors and is home to The Graduate School.

The 14.5-acre Health Campus anchors the east end of Grand Rapids' Medical Mile. It is comprised of the three buildings that serve our health professions students, and includes classrooms, labs, simulation center, and learning spaces.
Meijer Campus in Holland (map)
The Meijer Campus was dedicated in August 1998 and is the future home of the GVSU Police Academy.
Detroit Center (map)
The Grand Valley State University Detroit Center is the central hub for university activity in the heart of Michigan's largest city. The Detroit Center is available to host workshops, seminars, professional development, and other large gatherings.
Muskegon Regional Center (map)
The Stevenson Center within Muskegon Community College was constructed in 1995 offering the university new opportunities in the shoreline community.

Established: Grand Valley State University was chartered by the Michigan legislature in 1960 in response to the need for a public, four-year college in the state's second largest metropolitan region.
